Cejka Search has been exclusively retained by Sinai Chicago in Chicago, Illinois to assist in the recruitment of a proven physician leader to serve as the Chair, Behavioral Health.
Sinai Chicago leadership has positioned Behavioral Health services as a strategic organizational initiative. In response to this directive, the Chair of Behavioral Health will join a dynamic and growing service line to serve as an innovative, strategic leader to enhance the positioning and services offered across the enterprise. The Chair will be instrumental in guiding the development, implementation and management of an evolving and innovative practice model that focuses on providing the right care for patients in the right setting, across the care continuum. The Chair will oversee and provide leadership for multi-site inpatient units, outpatient clinics and services for adults and pediatric patients. The Chair will foster a collaborative culture promoting coordination of care, attract and mentor high performing physicians and staff, and establish high quality, evidence-based practices to advance standardization of care.
Located on Chicago’s West and Southwest Side, Sinai Chicago is comprised of Mount Sinai Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital, Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, Sinai Children’s Hospital, Sinai Community Institute, Sinai Medical Group, and Sinai Urban Health Institute. The entities of Sinai Chicago collectively deliver a full range of quality inpatient and outpatient services, as well as a large number of innovative, community-based health, research, and social service programs. Sinai Medical Group (SMG) is a physician-led provider group comprised of 300 specialists and primary care providers dedicated to delivering quality patient care to improve the health of the 1.5 million people who live in their diverse service area.
Successful candidates will have a distinguished clinical track record and progressive leadership experience in managing and advancing inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services with a strong emphasis on serving the underserved. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals to advance clinical and educational programs and mentor and align providers are required. This position requires current Board certification in Psychiatry and the ability to obtain an active Illinois license.
