Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, the nation’s first accredited Accountable Care Organization (ACO), announces an exceptional opportunity for an experienced health care leader to serve as the Director of Virtual Health.

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, a physician-owned and operated medical group, offers patients high-quality and comprehensive medical care through a network of providers in the Greater Houston area. The medical group’s 26 multispecialty care centers and a specialized sleep center with over 500 providers and 3200 employees support a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art services. As an established ACO that emphasizes quality, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has focused on delivering evidence-based health care through and an integrated care team delivery approach to patients for more than 60 years.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, John Lyle, the Director of Virtual Health will be instrumental in enhancing, standardizing, and supporting virtual health care delivery initiatives at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. The Director will be a collaborative partner to administrative, operational, and clinical leaders to develop strategies and coordinate the effective use and implementation of technology solutions that will elevate virtual care services offered at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Using existing platforms, software and hardware solutions, the Director will manage the day to day operations and functionality of the virtual heath care program while introducing innovation and creativity to promote the growth and advancement of services offered.  

Successful candidates will have at least three years leadership experience with a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of virtual health care. Proven track record in developing relationships with organization stakeholders, physicians, and leadership to implement processes that will support quality outcomes and enhance the patient experience. A bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, finance or related field is required. Experience with Epic electronic medical records platform is a plus.
