Job Description

Cejka Search has been retained by AdventHealth to recruit a nationally recognized physician executive to serve as the Chief of Urology for Florida’s premier multispecialty physician group, AdventHealth Medical Group, and hold a prominent leadership position within AdventHealth Digestive Health and Surgery Institute.

AdventHealth is the largest not-for-profit Protestant health care system in the nation with nearly 50 hospital campuses across 9 states. AdventHealth Central Florida Division is the leading health network in Florida and one of the country’s largest not-for-profit health care providers with 20 hospital and ERs in the seven counties in and surrounding metro Orlando. AdventHealth Medical Group is the Orlando area’s premier multi-specialty medical group with over 700 providers providing high quality, innovative, and mission-centric care to over a million patients per year. 

The Chief, Urology will lead, expand and elevate Urology services across AdventHealth Central Florida’s clinical enterprise. This physician leader will focus on strategy, vision, and clinical operations to position the Urology Program as a regional and national leader and destination center for excellence of care and service. The Chief, Urology will lead a team of talented physicians and advanced practice providers to identify opportunities for advancing a culture of safety, inclusion, and accountability; improve quality and safety across all areas; foster innovative approaches to patient-centered care and population health; and achieve departmental and system goals. The Chief, Urology will work closely with related service line leaders to assure coordinated planning and support for all services across the care continuum and across the clinical enterprise.

The successful candidate will have proven clinical skills and the ability to influence, negotiate and motivate collaborators to build a culture of quality, efficiency and an evidence-based, multidisciplinary care approach to improve clinical and service outcomes. Board certification and the ability to obtain an unrestricted Florida medical license are required.
