The Culinary Health Fund (affiliated with UNITE HERE HEALTH) announces an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished and proven healthcare executive to serve as Vice President, Health Care Transformation.

The Culinary Health Fund based in Las Vegas, Nevada constitutes almost 60% of the membership of UNITE HERE HEALTH and represents an extremely important fund in its own right with substantial influence in its market. The Culinary Health Fund provides medical, dental, pharmacy, vision, and other benefits and healthcare services to over 125,000 members and their dependents. The Culinary Health Fund owns and operates one health center and two pharmacies with plans for an expansion of services.
Reporting to the President of the Culinary Health Fund, the Vice President, Health Care Transformation is a critical leadership position to support the Culinary Health Fund in serving its members through development and execution of strategic goals focused on transforming the delivery of care to improve patient experience, quality, outcomes and reduce the total cost of care. A visionary and progressive thinker, the Vice President will provide population health management, operational and administrative direction and expertise through evaluation and coordination of a comprehensive array of services and programs for healthcare delivery systems to promote a value-based approach to care rooted in population health strategy. In collaboration with the Administrator of the health center(s), the Vice President will promote opportunities of synergy associated with a multidisciplinary team approach to operating and evolving the health center services.
Successful candidates will have at least five years of progressive senior leadership, population health and operating experience within the primary care ambulatory setting with strong business acumen. Demonstrated success in leading population health or medical management programs that have successfully improved quality, outcomes and the total cost of care is required. A track record of collaboration, engagement, cultivating strong internal and external relationships as well as fostering a respectful culture of commitment to service excellence is critical. An advanced degree in business or healthcare administration is preferred.
