Michael Hill, VP for Nationwide Executive Search Practice
Wheeler Jones, Regional VP For Southeast
St. Louis, August 28, 2006 - Cejka Search, a nationally recognized healthcare executive and physician search firm, announces that Michael Hill has joined the organization as Vice President, Practice Leader. Hill will lead a nationwide practice within the company’s Healthcare Executive Search Division. Hill and Wheeler Jones, Regional Vice President, both reside in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
As a seasoned executive search professional, Hill’s healthcare experience includes hospital operations, management, business development, strategic planning and consulting. His executive positions in regional and national healthcare systems have provided him with a unique understanding of the challenges facing today's healthcare organizations. He successfully partners with senior leaders to develop the right solution to their talent needs and tailors his approach to meet the specific needs of each client organization.

Wheeler Jones also joined Cejka Search within the last year as Regional Vice President for the Southeast. Jones’ understanding of the ever changing healthcare environment and today’s challenges facing healthcare providers enables him to provide innovative solutions for physician recruitment needs. His main focus with Cejka Search is developing and maintaining business relationships by insuring excellent customer service.

Prior to joining Cejka Search, Jones held various sales and sales management positions in the home healthcare and medical surgical segments of the healthcare industry. Most recently, Jones served as the Senior Director, Customer Relations with the American Red Cross Biomedical Services. Jones is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Prior to joining Cejka Search, Hill was Vice President of Acute Care Sales, Eastern Region for Broadlane, where he worked with hospitals and hospital systems in the areas of group purchasing, capital equipment planning, contract labor services, and pharmacy and clinical consulting. Hill has also held leadership positions at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Worth and HCA in Dallas and St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. Hill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Wichita State University. He is also a member of several business organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Hospital Association’s Strategy and Market Development sector and the American Marketing Association.
