Cejka Search Continues to Build Executive Search Division
St. Louis, June 5, 2008
Cejka Search, a nationally recognized physician and healthcare executive search firm providing services exclusively to the healthcare industry for more than 25 years, has announced that Scott Bates has joined the company as Vice President in the Executive Search division. Bates is the most recent executive search consultant to join Cejka Search, which has doubled its team of senior consultants and associates since last year.
With more than 12 years of national executive search experience, Bates is a seasoned executive search consultant whose experience includes successfully managing search committees and the recruitment of CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), CFOs (Chief Financial Officers) and many key director level positions.
In addition to his work in the executive search industry, Bates recently served as executive director of the St. John’s Mercy Hospital Foundation in St. Louis. He served in management and consulting roles in nonprofit fundraising and development in the Chicago area for much of his early career.
Bates has published articles and spoken widely on issues such as succession planning, executive career development and the unique process and challenges of recruiting philanthropy professionals.
Bates earned a Bachelor of Science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
