Cejka & Company Changes Its Name
Nationally-Ranked Physician and Healthcare Executive Recruitment Firm Updates Company Name To Better Reflect Business Focus

Nationally-ranked Cejka & Company, established in 1981 as a physician search firm, has changed its name to Cejka Search.
Cejka Search President, Carol Westfall, announced the name change, which takes effect immediately. “Conditions within the dynamic and growing healthcare industry and Cejka’s strong healthcare search practices prompted our decision to introduce a new name for the company. The Cejka name has enjoyed widespread recognition in the industry for more than 20 years and the time is right to leverage our brand into Cejka Search in order to convey exactly what we do. We believe our new name will help expand awareness among today’s healthcare hiring decision-makers and those of the future,” said Westfall.
“We have successfully expanded beyond physician recruitment to also become widely known in healthcare executive recruitment,” Westfall explained. “Physician recruitment has been and will continue to be a very large component of our business. However, our executive search division has had excellent success in recruiting and placing healthcare executives, including CEOs, CFOs, vice presidents, physician executives, nurse executives and service line directors. We believe that our new name will enable us to gain even greater visibility for our healthcare executive search service.”
Executive Recruiter News published its annual list of Top 40 firms in the retained search industry earlier this year, ranking Cejka Search 11th among U.S. retained executive search firms for 2003, based on 2002 revenues.
“Our goals include making the Cejka Search name known to the entire healthcare industry,” said Westfall. Notwithstanding the name change, Cejka Search will continue to be associated with outstanding client service and understanding of the needs of healthcare organizations, including hospitals and health systems, medical group practices, managed care organizations, academic medical centers and Fortune 500 companies.
