Paul Esselman is Vice President, Engagement Manager of Cejka Executive Search, the 5th largest healthcare executive search firm in the U.S., providing services exclusively to the healthcare industry for more than 25 years.
With more than 16 years of experience on both the clinical and research sides of healthcare, Paul has an extensive understanding of the healthcare industry and has worked with executive leadership across a wide range of hospitals and health systems, academic institutions, physician group practices, and managed care organizations. Dedicated to serving his clients and candidates, Paul manages all aspects of his clients’ search process, from candidate recruitment and the evaluation and assessment of executive skill and competency, to contract negotiations prior to placement.
Paul employs successful recruitment strategies for building high-performance teams and is committed to finding and placing exceptional leaders who not only are a fit with his clients’ organizations, but who are also able to deliver optimum clinical and financial outcomes.
Prior to joining Cejka Executive Search, Paul successfully led sales and marketing teams in the biotechnology industry, managing multi-departmental strategic initiatives and corporate restructuring programs. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
