Mary Scholz Barber is Vice President of Recruitment Partnerships and Marketing at Cejka Search, a nationally recognized physician, allied health and health care executive search firm providing services exclusively to the healthcare industry for more than 30 years.
Mary joined Cejka Search in 2006, bringing 25 years of combined corporate and agency experience that includes more than a decade working with clients across the entire spectrum of the healthcare industry. In her career, Mary’s work has encompassed branding, collateral, advertising, direct marketing, interactive media and PR. As a member of Cejka Search’s Senior Leadership Team, Mary has been instrumental in building recruitment partnerships with key clients and positioning the organization as the first-choice provider of health care recruitment services.
Her focus on industry trends and best practices in health care executive and medical staff recruitment includes the publication of industry trend surveys, articles and presentations on the topics of compensation, leadership, recruitment and retention. Prior to joining Cejka Search, Mary was a practice leader with the largest independent marketing communications firm headquartered in St. Louis and spent a decade directing corporate communications and investor relations for a leading, publicly traded Midwest regional bank holding company.
Mary earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from St. Louis University.
