Karen Robbins
Karen began her career with Cejka Search in 1987 and serves as the organization’s Controller. In her role, she oversees the financial functions of the company and manages the activities of the Accounting Department. Karen is on the local Leadership Team and works closely with them in providing support for the management of the business units, as well as serving as the liaison between Cejka Search and the parent organization, Cross Country Healthcare, Inc., located in Boca Raton, Florida.
In addition to the preparation of financial statements, forecasting, and financial modeling, Karen spearheads the budget process, including business analysis and planning. She was the functional lead during the conversion of the company’s financial software to PeopleSoft and has played a key role in organization’s growth, serving as point-of-contact and providing support during the merger and acquisition processes.
Prior to joining Cejka Search, Karen was the Accounting Manager for a subsidiary of a publicly held $1B company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.
Karen is a member of Financial Executives International. She is currently Vice President of Communications for the St. Louis Chapter. In the past she has been a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and served on the board including Past President of the St. Louis Chapter.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
