Deedra Hartung is the Senior Executive Vice President, Managing Director of Cejka Executive Search. Cejka Executive Search is the fifth largest health care executive search firm in the U.S., providing services to the health care industry for more than 30 years.
Deedra brings over two decades of health care executive experience and eleven years of health care and academic executive search experience to her clients. Deedra recruits national leaders on behalf of preeminent hospitals and health systems, academic medical centers and schools of medicine and physician group practices.
A recognized leader in her field, Deedra knows exemplary leadership. She is skilled in her interactions and leadership with Boards of Trustees and Search Committees. Her communication skills and intuitiveness, combined with her professionalism and her judgment, bring exceptional skill to her clients. Since joining Cejka Search in 2000, Deedra has been integral to the growth of the firm’s academic medicine and health system leadership practices.
Deedra is a frequent invited speaker at the American College of Healthcare Executives Congress and her articles on CEO leadership and physician executive leadership are published in numerous professional journals. Deedra is also active with the American Association of Medical Colleges.
Deedra earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Kansas.
