Paul Smallwood
Vice President, Physician Search Division
In 1990 Paul Smallwood began his career at Cejka Search as a Senior Consultant with the Physician Search division. Consistently ranking in the top 5 percent among Cejka consultants for productivity, Smallwood advanced to Vice President, supervising senior search consultants in the company’s Physician Search Division.
In addition to his management duties, Smallwood continues working as a senior search consultant, handling recruitment and placement responsibilities.
Prior to his career with Cejka Search, Smallwood was Director of Sales and Marketing with a biotech/life science firm that manufactures immunoassay diagnostic kits for research on diabetes. Smallwood’s responsibilities included product development, marketing, business planning and sales.
Smallwood’s problem-solving and negotiation skills, coupled with an ability to accurately assess the needs of the clients and candidates, have made him integral to countless successful client partnerships and candidate relationships established by Cejka Search.
